Active routes to school initiative

Our Year 5 students have participated in the Active Routes to School initiative, which is an educational and behaviour change initiative which encourages primary school students and their families to walk or ride to school.

Transport for NSW has partnered with the Department of Education and Northern Beaches Council to provide fully funded, in-classroom lessons for our Year 5 students. These lessons have empowered students to design their own active travel routes to school.

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

Parking on school grounds

There is no parent parking available on school grounds. Street parking is available around our school, either on Waratah Street, Bungan Street or at the back of the school on Emma/Wangara Street.
