Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

The Mona Vale PS P&C is an incorporated not-for-profit association which aims to promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation. The P&C aims to assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school, and in promoting the recreation and welfare of students at the school.

Mona Vale PS P&C is managed by volunteers and employs staff to maintain its many services to the school. The P&C, by means of sub-committees, is responsible for running the School Canteen and Uniform shop. The P&C provides assistance with numerous other school and social events, and provides financial donations to the school to assist with procurement of various programs and resources.

Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

Join our P&C

The P&C believes in the let us all participate philosophy. If you wish to be part of the P&C or would like to volunteer some time to the various activities the P&C perform we would love to hear from you. The P&C have a variety of roles, tasks and projects for which they require assistance and may suit your skills, interests and availability. Whether your involvement is ongoing or one-off, it is highly appreciated.

P&C meetings

The P&C hold regular meetings which you are most welcome to attend. These are held in Week 4 and Week 9 of each school term in the school staff room - during 2026 we will be trialling different days and times, aiming to increase involvement and allow more people to attend. Below is the current meeting schedule for 2026 - please note, any changes to meeting dates, times or venues will be advised through either the School App, Newsletter and P&C Social Media.
